SHOW DESCRIPTION:

The Roanoke River Ramble is a 9-mile, flat-water paddle from beautiful Weldon to historic Halifax, NC.

We begin with a light breakfast and hot beverages in a restored grist mill on the banks of the Roanoke River. We launch from a three-lane boat ramp and enjoy a brisk paddle downriver, the best way to see the gorgeous fall colors and wildlife.

We end the day with a hot, homemade soup and sandwich lunch and dessert with live entertainment by ChamberGrass, banjo and bass duet. Top it all off with supporting a wonderful non-profit Roanoke River Partners, enjoying camaraderie with other paddlers and appreciating the beauty of the mighty Roanoke River, and getting a cool souvenir hat!
