SHOW DESCRIPTION:

PaddlePower is a two-day canoe and kayak trip on the Connecticut River to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention. The trip starts in Orford, NH, on Saturday morning (though camping accommodations for Friday and Saturday are included with registration) and traverses 25 river miles, ending in Wilder, VT, on Sunday, Aug. 19, with a big 'ole BBQ lunch, live music, and a closing ceremony.

Organized and hosted by West Central Behavioral Health, a nonprofit community mental health agency, PaddlePower supports our 24-hour crisis hotline and other rapid-response mental health services in NH and VT.

Registration for PaddlePower is $50 until July 31; $65 after. Each paddler is also asked to raise a minimum of $150 toward the cause. Registration includes two nights of camping, transportation from the river to your car/campsite, all your meals, raffle giveaways, and live music performances throughout the weekend.
