The Inaugural Chattooga River Festival is a 3-day weekend packed with fun filled events in celebration of our Wild and Scenic Chattooga River!

The festival will kick off Friday, June 22 in Clayton, Georgia with the deliverance. redemption. salvation. artist's reception at Timpson Creek Gallery followed by the Ronny Cox Band Show at the Rabun County Civic Center.

The fun continues Saturday, June 23 in Long Creek, South Carolina with the Banjo Boogie Adventure Race, whitewater rafting via local outfitters, guided nature hikes, and an all day music festival at Chattooga Belle Farm with performances by The Mosier Brothers, Sol Driven Train, Shannon Whitworth, Nitrograss, Conservation Theory, Timberline, Heather Lutrell and Michelle Malone! Finalists of a Dueling Banjo competition will also perform and patrons can enjoy an arts & crafts festival village, local food and fun area for kids! Also on Saturday, Ronny Cox will be signing copies of his new book "Dueling Banjos: The Deliverance of Drew" between 3-5pm at Timpson Creek Gallery in Clayton, GA! To round out the evening, VIP Weekend Pass holders will get to rub elbows with the stars in an exclusive VIP access only event! General Weekend Pass holders will have opportunity to attend the Warner Brother's 40th Anniversary Premiere of Deliverance at the Rabun County Civic Center in Clayton, GA!

On Sunday, June 24 in Tallulah Falls, GA there will be a makeshift boat race, lakeside pavilion picnic lunch followed by gospel & medley of era music with performances by the dueling banjo competition winners at the Rabun County Civic Center. The weekend comes to a close with a showing of the movie "Deliverance" at the Tiger Drive-in.
