The paddling season in this area typically lasts from early May until late September. If you're close by you may be able to sneak out before or after this time, but extended trips would be difficult.

July typically has the most stable weather. June and August tend to have a little bit more rain, although the weather is still quite nice. May and September can be very cool and you should take some extra gear to deal with the elements.
