BWCA Slideshow - Spring 2001 Trip
The wonderful folks at Voyageur North Outfitters were kind enough to offer us a trip into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. We spent the five days paddling, fishing, watching wildlife, and just getting away from it all. We took a camera along to document our trip and to share with you some of our experiences.
We entered the wilderness early in the morning on May 17 and spent 5 days in the canoe. We returned on the 21st and headed for home.
In case you don't know us, we're Brian and Brent, founders of Paddling.net. We took this trip as our Spring getaway and enjoyed every minute spent on the water. We've also enjoyed the opportunity to bring you this web site and thank you for all your support!
We entered at entry point 16, Moose River North, and paddled the first day until we hit Lac La Croix. Our second day was spent travelling from La Croix to Ge-be-on-e-quet Lake where we spent two nights. The fourth day was spent travelling to Oyster Lake. Our fifth and final day was spent entirely in the rain as we returned to our entry point and took comfort in artificial heat and a hot shower at Voyageur North Outfitters.
Please support Voyageur North Outfitters as they not only helped make this trip possible but help make Paddling.net possible!
