For 2005 I have a new construction, replacing the trapezoidal PVC core with a round core and the urethane adhesive with methacrylate. This eliminated the rare but very frustrating incidence of the urethane not setting properly. The new construction is not only more reliable but has a stiffer blade, with a weight increase of only 0.4 oz.
