Grand River Heritage Water Trail (MI)

Length: 30 miles
The Grand River flows across Ottawa County for about 30 miles, entering the County in the Jenison area on the east side of the County and ending in the west at Lake Michigan in Grand Haven. It is a very significant waterway with many interesting natural features, and it is also rich in history.
The online interactive map has park listings, put-in access points, GPS coordinates and descriptions of available accommodations. The map also features extreme detail using an overlay from a 2008 aerial photo, the presentation of historic points of interest, natural features, and also has a handy trip planner.
This is a new website and parts are still under development. Not all links and categories are fully developed.
Also be aware that some of the links on the Grand River Heritage Water Trail website require Microsoft's Silverlight plug-in to operate properly.
