Paddling.net was founded in 1998 (see the original home page) by Brent and Brian, a pair of paddling enthusiasts, with the goal of creating the best resource for canoe and kayak paddlers and a community for paddlers to share ideas and get advice.

Over the years, Paddling.net grew from a small site with a few features to a comprehensive resource for all types of paddling information used by thousands of paddlers each day.

We strive each day to help provide fun and useful information and resources for all types of paddlers, but that's not enough...
