Good binoculars; but the image isn't particularly sharp on the edges and doesn't show much when in low light conditions. Overall handy good bino for the money among compact binos in it's class.

If you're a minimalist, the Nikon Travelite Binoculars are the way to go. They're super light weight with decent glass in a Polycarbonate shell. These aren't Swarovski's, but for about $100, I've found them to be terrific when weight is a primary concern. I prefer the 8x25 for the lightest weight. THEY ARE NOT WATERPROOF, so be forewarned.

If size and weight don't matter and high quality is important, skip these and invest in a better pair.
