I bought my Harmony PFD on sale when I first began whitewater paddling, around 2000. I chose the Harmony because it was quite a bit cheaper than the competition, namely Lotus PFD's.
My assumption was the Harmony PFD would last a few years and then I could upgrade... well now it's 2007 and I still have the Harmony. No upgrade needed! Through countless rivers, (class II through V)as well as many Atlantic ocean beaches, the PFD still is intact and in great shape.
