I got the Walden Coastal 240 cm paddle to replace the cracked awful 35$ Army & Navy paddles I got my rec. kayak with. For the money, I think it's a good recreational paddle for guys with some upper body strength. DO NOT recommend it to girls or guys with very light build as the paddle is HEAVY. It's very strong, large blades let you accelerate and turn fast, but it's so heavy it's almost not suitable for paddles over 2 hours long or so. Great rec paddle, but look elsewhere to go the distance.
