This canoe is based on the sawyer x-17 design. Paddles fast and straight, loaded and unloaded good performance. Sheds waves beautifully. Also turns effortlessly. Unloaded it has low draft so is great for rockgardens. Good mild river boat and even handles well in whitewater when unloaded. Solos with good glide but best for a stronger paddler, esp. if loaded.
