After racing this canoe for years I am spoiled. I have trouble finding a tripping canoe with the same ability to steam along like this boat. It has no rocker but has an assymetrical hull that turns sharp corners well if run bow down and leaned slightly. The flat bottom helps through rock gardens. The limitations are little freeboard if fully loaded in choppy water, and grade 3 rapids are beyond it's safety range.
