My wife and I both have used our Pungo 120s in a variety of conditions, from coastal bays and sounds to farm ponds, from class I rivers to massive reservoir lakes. They get the job done in all situations. Granted, you can't go hardcore touring way out in the ocean or do much whitewhater above class I (though II is possible on warm day when you don't mind getting a little wet), but then you'd expect to have to own multiple boats to do all that. The Pungo 120 is a great rec boat choice for someone who wants to do a little of everything in his or her boat and be comfortable (great seats!) doing it.
