Submitted: 12-12-2005 by JCJ Just took the Adv 16 by Mad River out for the first time. Me, wife and two small boys on the lake. Nice!!!! The wind was up to 20-25 mph and the temp was around 48F. My wife had never been in a canoe and did quite well. The canoe handles well and cut the wind nicely. I figure we had 450 pounds in the canoe and still made it through the shallow 4 inch areas.
