I've been paddling my kevlar Loon since 1990 or thereabouts. It's a very versatile, fast boat, equally at home on the coast or downriver. Empty she's stable and gets more so as you add weight, and the extra weight only slows you marginally. I've packed this boat down for 5 day paddles that would probably be enough grub for John Daly on a week binge. The sliding seat allows easy trimming but the foot controls are pretty rudimentary, requiring frequent attention. My biggest complaint was the factory finish, there were two dimples on the top front deck which the dealer resisted making good. Then within 10 years, the kevlar finish is showing a lot of stress cracks that apparently are only cosmetic. Overall, it's been a great and fun boat.
