Sunny by Innova is a great boat. I paddled around a hundred single miles in one this summer on eight or nine different outings. We also did a few miles paddling double and it worked very well that way, too. It is great for carrying in the trunk and popping out when the paddling looks too good to pass up. I paddled quite a few miles with three friends in sea kayaks and though I had to work hard to keep up (especially in headwinds), I could stay with them and enjoy the days. I repeat...it is a great boat. Now is Innova could make a 15 footer, maybe I could keep up with the sea kayaks even better. p.s. You really do need the skeg and paddling without it is not nearly as easy. |
