Submitted: 01-18-1999 by rem038 I've been paddling my Gulfstream since 3/98. The boat is fairly light (50 lbs. in glass) and easy to handle loading/unloading etc. It tracks well and turns well. I rarely have needed to use the skeg. It has a roomy cockpit (15.5" x 28.75") and a swede form hull. It handles chop and heavy seas extremely well. Although a fairly wide boat (23.25"), it is still quick! Construction is light due to vacuum-bagging. My only complaints are that the deck finish scratches easily and that there is not a built-in recess option for a compass.
