I bought a SeaYak half a year ago because I fell in love with it. Love doesn't last forever: For me it takes about three months to wear out, then I have to face the truth. Well, the truth wasn't so bad. I still think it is a very comfortable, beautiful boat that perfectly fits my needs. Just one thing I don't like: The front hatch, closed by a neoprene cover, should have an oval shape, but has more the shape of an "8", making sure it leaks and can be pulled off by water pressure. It took me half a year to gather my guts, heat up the front deck and bend the rims to where I wanted them. It worked out perfectly, but still, I think it is a production error that didn't have to be.
