The family has dubbed my Charger "Tippy Canoe". The better part of my first day surfing was spent in the water, putting on a show for the people on the beach. My YakBoard is better for surfing.... On the bay, this boat is a lot of fun. It tracks well, and cuts through small waves like a champ. Because you're sitting higher, it's a drier ride than some SOTs. This is a well made kayak with lots of features, and the company backs their product. I've exchanged e-mails with the president answering my questions. For quality, price, and "fun quotient" I would rate this a 9. The lack of stability drags it down. |
