Submitted: 06-09-2005 by capecodder36 Older series Pungo 120-----Own two other boats. Passing by a large boat discount house last Fall. Mango colored Pungo sitting outside. A quick stop, quicker negotiations and I drove away with a new older (high coaming) model Pungo. A bit of customizing and have been using it as the command boat at a Cape Cod kayak tour operation. An absolutely superb boat for protected waters and tidal marsh exploration. Storeage is more than adequate. Stability is very good. Inexperienced paddlers quickly feel at ease. Some difficulties with smaller paddlers---underarms brushing against the high coaming. This was solved with the installation of split foam pipe covers. Looking at replacing existing fleet of sea boats and doubles with the new low coaming Pungo. Wonderful boat!
