I am new to the kayaking sport. A friend and I recently purchased kayaks. I bought the Pungo 120 and him the Manitou. I've had mine out four times in small lakes and rivers. The Pungo was fine. I fished from it, swam out of it and nature watched in it. I like the open cockpit and generous storage fore and aft. The seat is very comfortable and the footbraces adjust on the fly easily. The dry storage compartment in back seems to work fine and the drain plug in the stern is a nice touch. The boat tracks well with or against the wind and current. Will find out more in a couple of weeks when I float a little more active river. All in all a good beginners boat especially if you hunt or fish.
