Bought this kayak at Academy for around $280, it is well worth the money. Tracking is pretty good considering the boat is 28" wide and only 10' long. It is quite as fast as I would like it to be but it's by no means slow. Did well in a moderate chop and strong winds in a bay near Destin, FL. The dry storage doesn't work that well as you can not keep the straps tight enough to keep water out of it. All in all a great kayak for beginners, I will probably keep mine a while until I can afford something a little faster. |
