This is a great stable SOT YAK especially for the price. It's incredibly stable, it surfs well, paddles well (although not fast) and can hold quite a bit of cargo. For an all around SOT for under $400- this takes the cake. It is very comfortable with an added seat and well laid out. From the tank well/storage in the rear to the cargo in the front both with bungees and a Max weight of up to 325 this YAK can carry it all. The scupper holes work great when in rough water or surfing, but get plugs for lake/calm paddling otherwise you get wet for no reason. The only reason I gave it a 9 was because it didn't come with a drink holder or side carry straps. |
