I have a 2001 Pungo which I really like. I just bought a 2004 Pungo 120 and I like that one even better. I bought Pungos because of their large cockpit, width and sturdy build. My husband and I fish in our kayaks, so they need to be stable, especially when reeling in a big pike. The seating in the new Pungo is great, I don't get numb like I do in the older Pungo. I also like the slidelock foot rests, as I cursed every time I got into the older kayak after my husband used it and I couldn't reach the footrests.
The only mistake I made was not removing the hatch cover before driving on the highway for the first time. We lost it, but I recovered it the next day, unscathed. We'll be taking it off next time. |
