Submitted: 08-09-2004 by JohnWillson I bought my first Klepper single in 1951 and indulged in the nostalgic pull when I bought the latest model Aerius I in June04. The latest model was much heavier than I remembered, the heavier skin and sponsons add to the weight and were not features in 1951. While it behaved in much the same way, it took more energy to push. It is still as stable as ever, and as comfortable. It would still be the folding boat of choice if one was touring and not in a hurry.
