Submitted: 10-11-1999 by B.P. Nikles I am a beginner kayaker and the otter is my first kayak is very stable and manuverable. I also love the fact that I can cartop it on my little Geo Prizim. The only thing I have had problems with is a leak through my aft grab loop which I fixed easily with silicon. I weight 185# and am colse to six foot, and would not recommend being any taller or heavyer for the otter especially in rough water. Love kayaking and plan on up gradeing to a two man kayak in the spring. Would appreciate any recommendations. Happy paddling.
