The Scott whitewater is a good basic whitewater canoe following the lines of a Chestnut Prospector. Sufficient rocker and a shallow shoe keel allow fast spins when neede while still maintaining a fair degree of tracking on flat water. At 57 lbs in kevlar it is an easily prortaged boat. the gelcoat doesn't stand up to whitewater abuse but is easily filled. It has stood up well to ten years of hard use and is still going strong.
