Submitted: 09-23-2003 by tress29 I had my Pungo Classic out for a weekend trip, finally! There were three different kayaks on our outing and the Phase 3 seat in my Pungo was declared the unanimous winner! The coaming height was a little awkward for the shorter paddlers, but it's not a problem for me. There was plenty of room for all my gear, in dry bags. It's not the fastest, or the lightest boat on the market, but it's been the perfect first boat. It's affordable, forgiving, and so far, really stable. With the polyvinyl hull, I don't have to worry about beaching the boat and ruining the finish!
