Submitted: 08-22-2003 by Tim I have been using this paddle for about 9 months. It has taken a hell of a beating without any major problems. I enjoy paddling with this paddle. I thought it was a great deal at $150. The only annoyance is the paddle lock. After awhile it will not remain closed. This started happening after I had it for about 6 months. When you lock the paddle the little flip lock will popup after 20 seconds or so. Fortunately there is still enough pressure to keep the shafts locked. Still annoying though.
