Rudders perfect for going upstream, crossing bays, and navigating around obstacles. Perfect storage Sit on top for camping, snorkeling/diving, fishing. This IS the most versatile, (for its size,weight,price) SOT kayak out now. Stop reading this crap and go get one, Then try it out. (unless your 6'0, 250lbs then try a row boat instead:)
