Submitted: 05-13-2003 by paul w. johnson I have paddled the mariner max for a few years. I was initially impressed with its stability and comfort for somewhat larger paddlers and photography. The boat has been in various conditions and it has performed in each with ease. The secondary stability is excellent and the speed, tracking, and manuverability are a work of art. It's really hard to imagine a boat this size performing as well in wind, current, and chop or poking around caves. the boze bros created an exemplary boat.
