Submitted: 03-19-2003 by sharonmb I purchased my vela in july of 2000 after doing a lot of research into boats for smaller people. I am 5'4" and 120 lbs. and this is the perfect boat for me. It tracks and turns perfectly, bulkheads stay dry, seat very comfortable and so light weight (kevlar). skeg works well, no complaints, and with poppy red deck and bright yellow hull, it is very visible.
