A decent fixed peg system if not for the rail issue. The rails break constantly. I have 2 sets and lots 'o spare rails from Cascade Designs. Have to carry a spare set up of both the left and right assemblies wherever I paddle. Simple enough to swap out a broken one. Rethreading the cable can be a pain. God bless the cool rudder wedgie. Warranty department is good. Engineering department's response to the obvious design flaw has been pathetic. Everyone I know that uses the system has broken the rail in the same way. Breaking this part in rough water could be a bad situation. |
