Submitted: 08-12-2002 by velagirl I just bought a new vela and it been the first fibreglass I tried, there is such a difference. I was having some shoulder problems and could not do much kayaking and couldn't stand not been able to go so I went looking for a lighter one. The shop owner guaranteed me that the Vela was the one for me and he was so right. I couldn't believe the difference, easy to pick up, fast on the water, I love it.
