Submitted: 07-08-2002 by Kathie I've had this boat for a year, & it's so much fun. It goes everywhere -- in bays, sounds, rivers, lakes, & creeks. It's light, & I can get it on my rack by myself -- not a bad deal for a 51- year-old woman with a chronic back spasm! The Zydeco takes zip time to learn -- just get in & go. Entirely intuitive boat. Beamy & easy to get in & out of if you want to swim. No hatches but plenty of places to stow stuff. Handles Class 1 & 2 with ease, very stable. Great little vessel.
