Submitted: 05-15-2002 by Joe Reading others' critiques of the Sea Lion as slow, I must differ. I've gotten mine up to five knots (a powerboat running beside me) and have never had a problem keeping up with anyone in my seven years of paddling. In fact, have had a few composite owners get into mine and express great surprise & satisfaction at its handling. It's a great boat.
