Submitted: 05-09-2002 by Scot Taylor I used my Minn.II on 4th lake in the Adirondacks. It performed amazingly,better than I had expected. I carried a heavy load and my 8 year old son, paddling in a stiff wind. It tracked well and was stable. It easily out performed my father's Penobscot 17 blowing it away on the open lake with a load. Mine is the tuff - weave layup. I am not 100% pleased with the fit and finish. The gunwale on one side is drawn in, disturbing the other wise beautiful lines of this awesome canoe.
