Submitted: 12-27-2001 by Tim This was our first kayak. I can take all three of my boys on it with me and kayak the pinebarrens of NJ easily. ( they are 8,6,4) The ocean surfing is a total rush. It is a bit much to handle carrying on your own. We got a yak board this winter to use as a surf boat and for my oldest to learn to paddle. The boat is a little slow to turn but is a fantastic multi use kayak.
