This is a great kayak. Not only is it a good looking kayak, it also handles extremly well. I've had it out in rough choppy water with high winds and it tracked true to course. The minimal weathercocking that occured was easily corrected by minor edging. I was able to keep it tracking straight while others that I was paddling with were using rudders. The hatches are water tight and the seat is very comforatble even when paddling for long periods. This is a very reasonably priced fiberglass kayak that has lived up to my expectations. The kayak is 16'2" and weighs 54.5 lbs. Mine is a protype, the changes that have been made from this model is that the seat has been made larger and the name has been changed to Performa. |
