Submitted: 11-08-2001 by LeeG After using Lightnings standard sea kayak blade for 6 yrs I've found the Offshore model more comfortable for touring. It's forgiving, comfortable, durable and quiet. There are enough choices in lay-ups and shaft weights from Lightning to satisfy the superlight weight nut to the 250lb paddler needing a tough paddle for learning rescues.
