Initial stability is low (feels quite tippy), but secondary stability is very good, once you get over the tippy feel you can lean a bit. It is stable enough to take out on blustery days, with smaller waves, ride is fairly dry for a SOT. Overall a fun, quick boat for touring and work-outs. Built in New Zealand availability is limited in US from all accounts, but if you can find one, TRY it out. |
