Submitted: 09-10-2001 by Connie As a beginner I first tried the Extreme after about 8 hours of kayaking. I don't know much about the technicalities, but I'm 5'5' and weigh in at 190 lbs. I was pleased to find that I fit in this narrow boat easily, also was pleased to be able to paddle as fast as the guys in our group. Although initially a bit tippy, the secondary stability is remarkable. I loved it.
