The Castaway is one of three Old Town kayaks I own. The other two are a Loon 111 and an Otter. The Castaway is noticeably a better cruiser. Easier to paddle and tracks better. It has a good amount of stowage room. It is a bit harder to get into than the others but once you are in it's great. It is basically the same boat as the Old Town Castine but without the front & rear hatches. I choose to just get a good dry bag instead. Allot of boat for the price. I paid $450 new.
