Submitted: 05-11-2001 by John V. Purchased at national discount warehouse store, this canoe was well worth the $399 price. The plastic seats and middle seat/cooler were easy to install with a wrench and electric screw driver (30 minutes). For a canoe which is left outside during the summer, dragged over rocks and frequently used kids, the Coleman Explorer has held up well. Not a racer, but a good value for the $.
