Four of us went out last summer for a day and I rented a pungo, it was my first time in a kayak. The ease of getting in and out and paddling this boat made my day. I am 44 and was not tired even after 6 hours of fun. It got me hooked and I bought a Kayak this fall. My interests lie more in longer trips or open water so I bought a larger boat but am thinking of getting a Pungo for my wife or just a second boat. Buy one you won't regret it. Pay attention to your paddle purchase, It's the first thing I upgraded after only one season. Good luck. |
