Submitted: 10-15-2000 by Ed I bought the Guide to use as a fishing boat. I bought the Old Town sidesaddle motor mount, and with the Minn Kota 40lb. Thrust motor really goes. The floor flexes a bit at full speed, but is controllable. Just explored a local marsh, went right over a beaver dam no problems!! Canoe is stand-up stable to fish or hunt.
