Submitted: 01-18-2013 by amarloweproductions I live off the shores of Lake Huron and paddle mostly big open water. The Q500 tracks well and very comfortable in choppy waves as well as rolling seas. I have a rudder but seldom use it. Only complaints are the deck fittings break apart easily and need replacement quite often. The other key issue is both the fore and aft bulkheads easily fill with water in heavy seas. The seals are not tight.
