Though the Master is the surf kayak for "bigger" paddlers, I found the tri-finned bigger kayak, responsive and easily holds the wave while remaining stable. Getting into surf kayaking, try the RPF Master or its little brother the RPF Shark. Oh, and while being a SOT and not absolutely necessary, the roll works easily.
