Submitted: 09-28-2012 by LG I have paddled a guide on rivers in Iowa for about 20 years and in the BWCA. I call it the tank. It is a incredibly tough boat, can literally drag the boat over rock bars. Heavy for portaging but is possible. With a lot of weight in the boat you move about 1' for each stroke. Great for floating down rivers.
